Phase 1 (Days 1-30):

Learn the organization’s vision, values, culture and politics

  • Complete a thorough analysis of the specific state, county and township laws and operational regulations
  • Review the business plan, direction of company, corporate structure, job descriptions, internal to external communication methods, funding sources, and available technologies
  • Understand organizational priorities, partnerships, and alliances
  • Meet and observe each team, manager, member, stakeholder and partner
  • Aid with any immediate issues or concerns

Phase 2 (Days 31-60):

Assess and align activities, strategies and goals

  • Counsel and clarify mutual expectations, timelines, organizational charts, personnel gaps and departmental budgets
  • Recognize and investigate competition, vendors, key players, local resources, training materials, internal protocols, staffing and recruiting techniques
  • Identify possible untapped channels for gaining new market/increased share, sponsorships and endorsements
  • Expedite assembly of management team and auxiliary professionals necessary to implement business plan such as advisory boards, healthcare providers/caregivers, technicians, growers, etc.
  • Provide research findings, vendor/product referrals, and product placement ideas and new market entrance strategies

Phase 3 (Days 61-90):

Recommend and suggest key areas for improvement

  • Streamline processes and standards by effectively communicating needs to leaders, trainees, recruits, vendors, etc.
  • Create organizational momentum, establish measurable short-term goals, and set/revise team or individual performance measures
  • Expand and oversee development of partner networks, community relations, restructure/team balance, brand loyalty initiatives, and satisfaction/engagement surveys
  • Design or facilitate employee/community/vendor/patient/physician networking and educational opportunities
  • Assist with interviewing or retraining activities to ascertain competitive team members capable of cultivating, processing, manufacturing, producing, and/or distributing products consistently
  • Assure adoption of product quality and safety measures are in place using unmatched internal accountability protocols
  • Produce specific educational/marketing materials for product demonstrations, community outreach events/opportunities and physician participation
